Directions from Florence, South Carolina
Approximately 25 miles (30 minutes) from Florence, South Carolina to Abingdon Manor.
There are two ways to get to Latta from Florence depending on which side of town you are coming from:
Take 1-95 north to exit 181A. Go east on Rt. 38 for 1 mile and make a left onto Rt. 917. Follow for 5 miles into Latta. At the FIRST traffic light (Library on left-Museum on right) make a left turn onto Marion Street. Go 1 ½ blocks past Baptist Church to the Methodist Church in the middle of the road. Take the right fork (Church Street) and follow to just before the stop sign and turn left into Abingdon Manor's drive.
From Palmetto Street (Routes 76/301 or airport)
Go east on 76/301 (right out of airport) toward Myrtle Beach. Cross the Big Pee Dee River bridge and get into the left hand lane.
Take route 301 North toward Dillon. (SLOW DOWN TO 45 IN THE TOWN OF SELLERS - IT’S A SPEED TRAP).
Come into Latta and proceed to the second traffic light (across from the school) turn left onto Academy Street. Go across the railroad tracks to the next intersection, and turn left onto Church Street. Abingdon Manor is immediately on your right.
