Awards and Associations
Both the Inn and the Restaurant have received the prestigeous Four Diamond award from the American Automobile Association (AAA) - The Inn for twelve consecutive years and “The Dining Room at Abingdon Manor” each year since opening to the public in 2000.
This distinction makes Abingdon Manor the only property of its kind in South Carolina outside Charleston and its resort islands to have earned this award for both lodging and dining.
Select Registry, Distinquished Inns of North America is comprised of 250 luxury and unique properties in the United States and Canada. A rigorous inspection is involved in the process of acceptance to this high end destination guide and one absolute requirement is that fine dining be either on premises or within walking distance. Abingdon Manor is one of only eight Select Registry properties in South Carolina and the only one with on premise fine dining.
Abingdon Manor is also a member of the South Carolina Bed and Breakfast Association and has been featured in many articles and publications.
